Our family favorite aboard the Carnival Magic was the ultra kid-friendly Sports Square. The kids loved it because there was plenty to do to keep them busy, with a variety of activities to make everyone happy.
Mini Golf at sea is awesome because the par is unlimited and if you hit the ball over the rail into the water you win by default.
What's not to love about checkers the size of your head or chess pieces you can actually ride across the board?
The ultimate favorite was the Sky Course-the first ropes course at sea. At first they all tentatively teetered around the course, but the end of the week they were zipping across the ropes and posing for style points.
My favorite part about the Sports Square was that all the kids were happily occupied in a space that was compact enough that I could keep one eye on them and one eye on the ocean views and the breathtaking sunsets.
~Carnival Cruises hosted our family aboard their inaugural cruise aboard the Magic. They did not require that I express any particular viewpoint and all opinions are my own.~

Wow, that’s impressive for a ship! I have never been on a cruise before and never imagined they would have so much stuff. The sky course looks really cool.

The Sky course looks amazing. My kids love those giant games too. I may need to look at Carnival. Their activities look awesome and makes the Norwegian ship we just went on look like so ordinary. Great action photos!

That looks like too much fun. I can't wait to crusie with the kids, I just have to wait until they are a little bit older.

Wow, how things have changed aboard cruise ships in the last 5 years. It used to be the sunshine and food was the attraction while onboard. Now, the focus really has shifted towards some impressive outdoor activities and some equally impressive atriums.

Entertainment and exercise for the kids and a break for mom – sounds ideal!

Definitely looks like a lot of fun – I love a play area where you can keep track of kids without being on top of them. And a golf course where you win by default for hitting the ball out of bounds – sounds like the perfect course for me!

I still think mini-golf on a cruise ship has to be incredibly challenging. Especially if there's children lying on the loop. It looks like a great place to spend the day though.

Oh my gosh that looks like so much fun! I love the idea of the kids having fun, moving across the high ropes and being so confident towards the end 🙂
That would be the best ideal family fun weekend! Wish we had Carnival Cruises near us!
Cheers
